Finding the greatest common factor of a list of numbers in JavaScript. I feel like my code is much too long and complicated. Surely there's a more efficient way to do this. Also, I know it's best practice to avoid global variables, and I used one here. FYI, GCF is usually called GCD -- Greatest Common . I wrote this program to determine the Greatest Common Factor of any 2 given numbers, and would like to know of any improvements that can be made. I have tested it using a loop and 2 randomly genera. I would like to find the greatest common divisor using JavaScript. Anyone done that before and willing to share?
